Summary : Jiwoo is a kind-hearted young man who harnesses the lightning quick reflexes of a cat to secretly make the world a better place – one saved little child or foster pet at a time. Kayden is a secret agent on the run, who finds himself stuck in a body of a…um… decidedly fat old fluffy cat. Together, armed with Jiwoo’s super powers and Kayden’s uber-smarts, they’re out to fight those forces who would let evil rule this world. That is, if they can stand each other long enough to get the job done.

If you are craving for some action cat story with good plot, then this is for you.

Eleceed is humourous and thrilling at the same time. The plot is easy to follow, but I’m not going to say it’s boring. Both the creators made a good job in keeping the readers’ interest in place, be it on the intense moments or the funny ones.

What I love about Eleceed is the interaction between Jiwoo, the main character, and a human-transform-into-cat Kayden. Starting off with harmless concern of a cat lover upon meeting a bleeding cat, now they are on the term of friends looking out for each other (kind of). Surely, their relationship improved over the chapters, and I’m happy for the development.

Jiwoo is an innocent young man, whose heart so pure I want to protect him like my son. He reminds me a lot of Atsushi from Bungou Stray Dogs. His honest and youthful personality got me, and not to mention his light colour hair. The way they act are almost similar too. They both have big determination to protect what they love, and they will take every action it need even if it cost them their life.

Kayden has a big ego, even if he’s in a fat cat body. He calls himself the great Kayden, claiming to be a strong Awakened being. (A human with super power is called Awakened. Both Jiwoo and Kayden are ones.) It’s hilarious to see him discovering his new life as a cat, finding out that the cat body is affecting him more than he prefers it to be.

Anyway, I’m anticipating where the story will bring me to, because so far it flows so good. Do read the story for the great Mr. Kayden.
